The Oscars

The Oscars are a prestigious award given to the individuals in the entertainment industry. The 97th Academy Awards were held at Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood on Sunday, March 2, 2025. The Oscars have 23 categories. Emmy Award Winner and comedian Conan O’Brien hosted this year’s Oscars for the first time. The performers at this year’s Academy Awards were Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, Queen Latifa, Doja Cat, LISA from Blackpink, RAYE, and Los Angeles Master Chorale. Emilia Pérez leads with 13 nominations and just behind is Wicked and The Brutalist with 10 nominations. The Oscars Academy delayed the voting period twice because of the LA fires.
